Warhammer 40K: Chaos Characters That Need New Plastic Models

Games Workshop has a deep roster of Chaos Characters that could use a new plastic kit. Here’s a few that are on our high priority list.

We don’t run things at GW but if we did we would make turning these kits into new plastics a top priority. Preferably when the new Chaos Space Marine codex comes out next spring…

I mean, GW has some time…but if these aren’t already in the works they should be!

Huron Blackheart

Considering the Red Corsairs leader got a couple mentions already in both the Tyranid and Space Marine codexes and the fact that he got a nod from Abaddon in the Arks of Omen campaign, Huron Blackheart needs a new model. He’s had his fingerprints in the background long enough and I think it’s more than his time to shine with a new plastic kit!

Lucious The Eternal

Lucious the Eternal isn’t very…eternal right now. His old model is no longer available and frankly, I don’t miss it. HOWEVER,  I do think he’s a cool character and should get a new plastic kit. Maybe along side a new Emperor’s Children codex in 2024…just throwing that out there.

Doomrider

This is the Doomrider from the earlier days of 40k. I’m pretty sure he does cocaine. Anyhow, his model has been retired for some time now. It’s a shame Chaos Space Marine bikers have also gone away…if only a new codex was right around the corner. Wouldn’t that be the perfect time to reintroduce new biker models with a new character that’s a deep lore cut, too?! Wouldn’t that be cool? Oh well. Not like those things will ever line up in the Spring or anything…

Ka’Bandha

“Wait a minute! Didn’t Ka’Bandha just get an awesome new resin miniature from Forge World for use in the Horus Heresy?!” Yes. Yes he did. And here I am wishing it was a plastic kit with some 40k rules to match. I really wish GW would make this happen for no other reason than it would allow modern 40k players to have Dante and the Blood Angels fight with him on the tabletop. And speaking of Horus Heresy era models that should of also had 40k rules…

Daemon Prince Primarch Fulgrim

Okay, I’m just going to come out and say it: This model was such a monster troll reveal! GW knows 40k fans have wanted a Daemon Prince Primarch Fulgrim for 40k since they started introducing them as a thing in 40k. And then GW comes out with this awesome Horus Heresy model in resin! C’mon! What a tease from GW. The real kicker is that because Fulgrim is a Horus Heresy resin model from the character line he won’t have 40k rules. Man…when GW does an Emperor’s Children Codex they better blow the leather pants off all those models and make that entire range the best chaos army out there.

There’s lots of Chaos Characters to choose from — which ones do you hope get a new plastic kit one day?
