Next weekend’s pre-orders may be small, but they’re also armed with surprisingly high-tech rereleases. Check out the Squats of Necromunda.

The Ruins of Jardlan expansion for Necromunda introduced a ton of new faces. And though the ones on pre-order might be little, they are but fierce, as the saying goes. That’s right, Squats take the center stage once again.

Even on the Hive World of Necromunda, Squats seem to have a knack for more advanced technology than most. Even when they’re among the last survivors of a ruined enclave. As you’ll see with the last vestiges of Jardlan, the Grimjarls.

Squats of Necromunda

Orrin Grimjarl is one of the last surviving Squats of Jardlan. And in lieu of vengeance, he’s after the restoration of his once-proud home. An aim he can accomplish with a fractal pulse beamer, his trusty mechanical sidekick and the help of the powerful gangs of Necromunda.

Of course, Urson Grimjarl, his older brother has a different set of skills. Urson is a bounty hunter who has a special “longshot” hunting rifle that he brings to bear against his prey. Combo this with his hunting and tracking skills, and you’ve got a powerful hunter roaming the Ash Wastes.

All that might be left of Jardlan is ruins, but if anyone is adept at rebuilding back from basically nothing, it’s the Squats. Their ingenuity has endured the grim darkness of the 41st millennium.

But ten thousand years prior, we visit the grimmer darkness of the 31st millennium. There, the Traitor Champion Consul gets a gorgeous new resin miniature:

Geared up to butcher Loyalist lapdogs in one-on-one combat, the Traitor Champion Consul is an expert duellist armoured with a paragon blade and volkite serpenta. This resin miniature is decked out in unique MKIII artificer armour and a flowing cape that sets him apart from the rest. He also comes with a choice of two heads – bare or helmed.

All this, next week!
