A new trailer shows off the breadth and depth of the consequences that might await your character in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader.

Actions have consequences, even in this economy. And in the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millennium, that holds double true. You can get a glimpse of it a new trailer shows just how deep the consequences can go.

Owlcat debuted a new trailer that shows the many roads your Rogue Trader might take as you encounter the various situations throughout the Koronus Expanse that require your attention. Will you be a loyal servant to the Emperor? Or will you start to delve into more heretical arts?

Rogue Trader – Consequences Trailer

Every action has consequences, especially if you are a daring explorer of the void of the Koronus Expanse. Want to take a peak on how the galaxy will react to you? Then, check out our new video which is just about that!

We’ve already seen just how divergent some of the paths can be. It’s not just “kill the planet” or “save the planet” but the character of how you go about doing things that figures into your Rogue Trader. When we talked to the developers earlier this year, they were excited to share about how much room there was for your Rogue Trader to play the way you want.

One of the most exciting things was the opportunity to play as a strictly Imperial devotee. Or perhaps to try and be a little more benevolent (after all the Imperium doesn’t exactly espouse mercy, so much as swift justice for traitors and heretics).

And now, in the Rogue Trader Consequences trailer, we find out that your actions have weight in the Imperium itself. There’s an Inquisitor in charge of the Koronus Expanse, and how you act will shape up what exactly he decides to have you do. This will be especially tricky since at one point you’ll have one of his agents with you.

If you want to be independent and amass a fortune outside the usual Imperial channels, you might have to be clever, crafty, or at the very least, lucky.

What fate will your Dynasty find?
