DriveThruRPG’s Cyber Monday sale is a phenomenal chance to try out a brand new RPG, thanks to a massive sale.

Black Friday is aught but ashes. No need to worry about missing out on savings, though. Cyber Monday is here, it’s everything Black Friday isn’t, and is probably wearing mirrored shades and says stuff like, “heh, badical.” Whatever you imagine it to be, there’s no denying DriveThruRPG’s Cyber Monday sale.

Right now, you can get up to 80% off of more than 60,000 titles (so about half of what’s on DTRPG). Whether you’re looking to snag old favorites, grab a new title, or finally take the plunge on that one game your weird indie RPG friend keeps recommending, there’s savings practically everywhere you look.

DriveThruRPG Cyber Monday Sale

There are less than 24 hours to go, so contrary to what the Ramones say, you don’t actually wanna be sedated. If you were, you’d miss out on some steep discounts from new and award-winning games. While we can’t take you through all 60K+ titles that are on sale, we can recommend some of the highlights.

Cyberpunk RED

Did you like Cyberpunk: Edgerunners? Like, in this case, meaning “get emotionally devastated by”, but same difference. If so, you’ll probably want to check out the RPG that spawned it all. Or rather, the latest version of it. Cyberpunk RED is a game of cyberpunk roleplaying in the dark future, where mega-corporations like Arasaka and Militech rule everything, but Edgerunners skirt the law and generally die gloriously as they become legends in Night City.

And you can try it for almost 50% off.

Cities Without Number

Want another, different cyberpunk RPG? Cities Without Number is the “Without Number” system’s cyberpunk entry. Using the full-fledged Sine Nomine toolkit, this book gives you everything you need for dystopian sandbox adventures, including one of the most robust world-building toolsets you’ll find.

Fabula Ultima

The award-winning Fabula Ultima is a loving homage to console-style RPGs, where a group of friends has to take down evil turbo space Catholicism. Or some guy with beautiful, improbable hair. It won multiple ENnies, and is an incredible system worth checking out, especially since you can snag it for under $15.

Ironsworn Starforged

One of the best RPGs for group and solo play, Ironsworn: Starforged is a game that casts you as space vagabonds (to whatever degree of vagabondery you want) out wandering the stars in search of adventure and mystery. And it’s got a comprehensive system for creating your own corner of the universe and exploring. A rare space game that makes traveling between systems feel actually interesting or exciting, this game is well worth checking out, especially if you’re looking to try a solo game for the first time.

Traveller Core Rulebook (2022 Update)

This is the OG sci-fi RPG. Traveller is yet another space game of bold exploration and interstellar action. The 2022 update was a wonderful revision/update that not only improved the ruleset but streamlined the layout and improved the art in the book itself. It’s a fantastic toolset for building your own adventures in the far future. If you want more starship action, Traveller can be yours today.
