With the new Flesh-eater Courts Army set on the way and a feast of new models there’s going to be a lot to paint. Thankfully GW has a new video to help you out on your hobby journey. If you’ve never painted Flesh-eater Courts before and want to get that pallid flesh look just right, they’ve got you covered with a new tutorial.

While this might focus on the Abhorrant Gorewarden the tips and techniques covered in the video will help you with just about every model in the Flesh-eater Court range. If you want to paint like the GW Pros, here’s the list of paints you’ll need to follow along:
Personally, I was never quite sure how GW got the FEC skin tone to look the way it does. Now, after watching this video, I have a much better understanding on just how they get that sickly pallid flesh. It’s a few steps to get the skin just right but the results speak for themselves. That’s if you’re looking to paint it like the box art of course.
You don’t have to match it exactly but if you’re looking for a few ideas on how to handle the Flesh-eater Courts on the hobby side this video is a great start. Additionally, GW also has a few more videos for blood-soaked bases and also painting bloody flayed flesh. The last one is really useful for just about any army looking to make things a bit…gory.
Hopefully this video made the army a little less intimidating to take on from the hobby side of things.
