‘Marvel’s What If…?’ Season 2 – Uatu Knows if You’ve Been Bad or Good in New Holiday Special
Marvel’s What If…? gets into the holiday spirit in Season 2, so grab your Santa hat and tune in next week!
Inspired by the comic series, the animated show explores the vastness of the multiverse and all of its possibilities. Last season included a zombie takeover, T’Challa as Star-Lord, and Captain Carter as the First Avenger. Didn’t catch it when it premiered? The whole run is available to stream on Disney+ now.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 is this year’s Marvel holiday special (perfect pairing with the Guardians of the Galaxy special from last year). It brings back fan-favorite characters, including the heroes of the Avengers, plus Nebula, Hela, Loki, Happy Hogan, and more.
Based on this ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’ themed first look, Howard the Duck is getting some Rambo-inspired screen time, Nebula has picked up Yondu’s signature weapon, and the Hulk has a beard. There’s also an introduction to Echo before her solo series drops next month. I’ll take that over a bunch of birds.
Uatu The Watcher sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake… he’s supposed just to observe, but he’s never been great at that.

Jeffrey Wright returns to narrate the series as the Watcher. The second season also stars Frank Grillo, Hayley Atwell, Lake Bell, Cynthia McWilliams, Mick Wingert, Josh Keaton, Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Michael Douglas, Kurt Russell, Karen Gillan, Jeff Goldblum, Kat Dennings, and Jon Favreau. Showrunners Bryan Andrews and A.C. Bradley, who also wrote the scripts.
