Warhammer Preview Online: Black Library Time

The Annual Black Library Preview returns from Games Workshop this weekend. What are you hoping to see?

Save the date and set an alarm because the Annual Black Library Preview is kicking off this Saturday at 2pm GMT. For those of us outside of GMT, that’s okay — GW made a graphic for us:

Once again, this will be on hosted on the Warhammer Twitch channel. So what can you expect to see this year?

Warhammer Preview Black Library, Place Your Bets

This year isn’t just a bunch of (great) interviews from your favorite Black Library authors. Aside from new book title reveals there will also be miniature reveals to boot! I’m hoping we get a fair spread of them this year, too.

We just had some massive reveals at the World Championships Preview and I’m guessing this one will mostly be focused on the Black Library titles and authors. That said, this seems like the perfect time for some one-off minis!

Characters like Minka Lesk as an example. Not only does she feature in her own books, but she’s just one of many characters that has made the jump from the page to the tabletop.

This could also be a chance for some one-off miniatures from the Old World to stop by, too. Seeing as how the Old World will be set before Warhammer Fantasy’s End Time by 200-ish years, we might get to explore some old fan favorites during this time.

Jumping forward to the Age of Sigmar, we could see some more characters like Blacktalon make an appearance, too. Again, there’s lots of lore and characters to explore with all the tales from Black Library. And each of those characters could be a made into a model for the tabletop.
