The crew’s story comes to a close as they set out on a dangerous rescue mission in The Bad Batch‘s final season.

The Bad Batch, aka Clone Force 99, is a motley crew of clones that initially appeared in The Clone Wars. Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Cybercaner Echo can claim a 100% success rate and have special skills not seen in any other clone troopers. They use their unique talents, specialized physiology, and teamwork to accomplish extraordinary feats.

The show’s first season follows them as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. They take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find a new purpose. Last season saw the crew dealing with a changing Republic. As the Empire takes control, they are forced to fight the one they once protected. In the end, our heroes scattered across the galaxy.

The first two seasons of The Bad Batch are available on Disney+ now. You can check out our recaps here.

Rumors have been circulating about the return of Ventress, one of Count Dooku’s best Force-sensitive assassins from The Clone Wars. This trailer confirms it. Last we saw her, she was on the brink of death. Brad Rau spoke about her return with StarWars.com.

“We love Asajj Ventress. She’s a character that we’ve been wanting to tell more stories about. We don’t want to spoil anything, but want fans to know that any new storytelling with Ventress will align with the events of Star Wars: Dark Disciple.”
