The Arvus Lighter is a ready to move your troops across the battlefield in Legions Imperialis. They will be making their landing very soon!

When it comes to transporting your troops quickly and efficiently the Arvus Lighter is one of the best options out there. It’s built to ferry units where they need to go and then deploy them quickly. Now they are coming to Legions Imperialis as a plastic kit with EIGHT of them in the box!

“Flyers are valuable assets in games of Legions Imperialis, and use their speed to soar in from beyond the board edge before strafing targets, bombing strongpoints, and delivering cargo. Given that it’s unarmed, it’s the third of these that the Arvus Lighter excels at, its speed and manoeuvrability making it perfect for dropping elite Solar Auxilia units into hotzones.”

The key thing about the Arvus Lighter Squadrons is that they aren’t really armed. They are designed to move fast though. Using that speed to drop of your infantry where it needs to be and then getting out of the hot zone is what they are geared to do!

“Though the hold isn’t big enough to carry entire tercios, it can still hold a respectable pair of detachments, and when grouped into squadrons, is fully capable of air-lifting a complete assault force to the front lines. It also sports rather good armour for an otherwise cut-price runabout.”

That 25″ movement is impressive in Legions Imperialis. And the 4+ save is nothing to sneeze at either. The boxy transports will deliver that cargo and hopefully be there when you need them to ferry your troops to the next tactically advantageous spot.

Keep your eyes to the skies as these new Arvus Lighters are coming soon from Games Workshop! The Solar Auxilia will be flying in style…or at least they will be flying in fast and that counts for something.

Good luck shooting them all down…
