It’s time to roll the dice on new releases! Come check out this week’s batch of brand-new tabletop role-playing games.

Additional Spellcasting: Necromancy – Dragonbane

Greetings, adventurers! Although there are other third-party works in existence that introduce the school of necromancy to the game, I felt it important that I release my own take on the subject to the world.

There is power in death… and greater power still in undeath. Necromancers hunger for power and are willing to do anything to satisfy that consuming hunger. Necromancers are almost always evil, though there may exist a handful of good necromancers who study this art so that they may better combat the evils of the world.

The Book of Unusual Feats – 3.x OGL

First published in 2007, The Book of Unusual Feats was created for the 3.5 edition of the classic ampersand roleplaying game. These feats work best with that earlier edition, but there’s no doubt that clever players and gamemasters will find ideas within these pages . . . which will lead them to craft homebrew feats of their own.

Well over 100 feats are included in this title. Many won’t suit your needs, some will inspire you, and a handful may be the Goldilocks feat you’ve been looking for your entire gaming life.

Wilderness Dressing: Bandits – OSR

Tired of glossing over the details of your characters’ ocean journey (except for the inevitable, violent random encounters)? Want to add minor features of interest to their journeys? Want to make their journeys seem more “real”?

Then Wilderness Dressing is for you! Each installment in the line focuses on a different type of wilderness and gives you—the busy GM—the tools to bring such locales to life with interesting and cool noteworthy features, events, and encounters. Designed to be used both during preparation or actual play, it is an invaluable addition to your GM’s toolbox!

Building Better Worlds – Alien RPG

All the wonder and danger of the stars is yours—if you can just wipe the grime off your face and dig the dirt out from under your fingernails first. Airless moons circle swirling gas giants, eager to be transformed into tomorrow’s paradise. Dark ancient mysteries wait to be unearthed beneath a millennium of debris. Searing solar flares boil your flesh and blacken your bones as you harness their power to light a hundred worlds.

Long-lost mysteries lie entombed in the frozen hearts of icy comets. Unstable tectonic plates shift to drown iridium mines in scalding lava. Even the truth of humanity’s origins awaits you out there, orbiting some dying star. And out there amongst it all is something truly horrifying—something that nature never intended.

Wrath and Glory: Aeldari: Inheritance of Embers – Warhammer 40,000

Aeldari: Inheritance of Embers is the ultimate Wrath and Glory sourcebook for Aeldari players and Gamemasters alike. This expansive supplement is the perfect starting point for an entirely Aeldari-focused adventure or to expand the enigmatic xenos’ role in an existing campaign.
