The Dark Angel Crusade Rules have a unique set of Bonus Agendas that players can score. Together they create a specific narrative campaign.

With the Dark Angels Codex Supplement right around the corner Games Workshop is teasing some new details about the Crusade Rules. If you choose to follow the built-in narrative you can take your army on a special Hunt for the Fallen. This could be the way one of your characters enters into the Inner Circle…

“Much like their regular Space Marine brothers, Dark Angels start by picking one of the Oathsworn Campaigns available to them. Two of the three work in a similar manner to those found in Codex: Space Marines, offering a special pre-battle Requisition to bolster your forces while challenging commanders to complete Bonus Agendas for Honour Points.

The third is an altogether different beast – the Hunt for the Fallen. After completing at least one Secrets of the Unforgiven campaign and one other from either Codex, your Crusade force can attempt to root out a member of the Fallen in a high-stakes pursuit where their elusive quarry can be lost at any moment.”

While the Lion might have forgiven his wayward sons, it’s no surprise that some of them might be a little hesitant to return to the fold. That’s where your Dark Angels Crusade comes in. You’ll have to complete three different agendas in order to succeed this task. And if you just one your hunt will end. It’s a high risk, high reward situation however.

This Oathsworn Campaign is tough to complete. Mostly because completing these objectives can be a strain on your forces to begin with. Keeping these objectives in mind while trying to complete the standard mission AND defeat your opponent (who probably has some of their own motivations) won’t be easy. But that’s the entire point. Not just anyone can join the Inner Circle.

The nice thing about these agendas is that completing each one does provide a really nice boost in Honour points. You’re going to gain a nice sum which you can then spend later.

So what can you spend those Honour points on? How about becoming the Master of the Deathwing or Ravenwing?

“The new options don’t stop there, with expanded Requisitions, Battle Traits, and Crusade Relics turning your Unforgiven heroes into finely honed killing machines. Who knows – you might even carve your own legacy as a son of the Lion, and take your place at the head of the Inner Circle.”

If you’re truly dedicated you can even become the Inner Circle Grand Master! It’s a challenge worth tackling — the bragging rights alone are worth it.

If you want to pursue these goals as a Dark Angel you’re in luck as these Crusade Rules are coming very soon. Get your Fallen hunters ready…there’s secrets to keep hidden.

Would you attempt to become the Inner Circle Grand Master?
