Next week’s preorders include the knightly Deathwing Assult boxed set, and Crusade: Pariah Nexus. Swords and secret sectors await!

40K heats up with a new boxed set up for preorder next week. The Deathwing Assault box is exactly the kind of thing your Dark Angels playing-friend won’t shut up about. And unfortunately, there’s a good reason for that; these miniatures look very cool. Especially done up in the official GW paint scheme.

Accompanying the Dark Angels box is Crusade: Pariah Nexus the next narrative expansion for 40K. In this book, the Necrons try to keep the Imperium out! They don’t call it the Pariah Nexus for nothing. But the Imperium doesn’t like being told no. We all know how that’ll go.

Here’s a closer look!

Deathwing Assault

Do you ever wish your Space Marines could be more like knights? I mean, that’s already kind of the vibe of 40K in general. Typically the less gun-having the model, the more badass they are. But Deathwings take the aesthetic and run with it.

This box contains 16 models. Ten of them are the existing multi-part Terminators, which can be kitted out with three included two Dark Angels upgrade frames. But then there are five new Deathwing Knights, armed with heirloom weapons, and incredibly cool looks. All of these led by Grand Master Belial.

In the box you also get the Codex Supplement: Dark Angels and all the transfers and ephemera you’ve come to expect.

Alongside the new boxed set, comes the next narrative expansion, Crusad: Pariah Nexus. What will those wacky Necrons get to to next? Here’s a taste:

Explore the Nephilim Anomaly while the Necrons attempt to hide it away from the prying eyes of the Imperium in Crusade: Pariah Nexus. This is the second Crusade narrative expansion for the current edition of Warhammer 40,000. Its 120 pages are filled with scene-setting background lore and thematic rules for use in your Crusade games, including Crusade Relics, Battle Traits, Crusade Blessings, and Agendas, plus rules for salvaging Blackstone Fragments and creating unique Blackstone Upgrades.

All this, next week!
