The Warhammer 40,000 App team has added two much requested features with a new update. Mark your favorites and check the Command Bunker!

If you’re playing Warhammer 40,000 and you haven’t used the App yet, you’ve been missing out! Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate having the hard copies of codexes and rules but the App is an excellent companion piece to have for quick reference. And now, it’s getting to new features that will make it even easier to use.

Command Bunker

“This is an in-game companion designed to provide quicker access to all your force’s Datasheets, Army rules, Detachment rules, and Enhancements on a single screen, so you don’t have to go diving into the search feature to find a rule that’s slipped your mind while you’re strategising.”

Hallelujah! I’ve been wanting a single spot to for all my rules for a while now. This new Command Bunker feature is exactly that. Sure, it wasn’t that hard to navigate around to find stuff to begin with. But now, you can basically build your army lists in the App and have everything in one spot for rules reference. That’s what’s been missing — and now it’s here!

Favourites Tab

This is another Quality of Life enhancement in the App that has been a long time coming. Now, you’re able to mark and store all your favorite Datasheets, Army/Detachment rules, and Enhancements. It’s a seperate section in the reference tab. This makes quickly finding those regularly referenced rules even easier to find.

Both of these changes should be out in an update pushed out by both the Apple App Store and Google Play. If you’ve already got the Warhammer 40k App just check for an update if these features aren’t already there.

It’s nice to see GW is still improving this App even if it’s just some (seemingly) simple features like this. The Command Bunker is my favorite update out of these two and I’m sure it’s going to see a lot of action in my games in the future.

I’m counting these updates as check in the win column.
