Marvel Zombies is a Zombicide spin-off game that puts players into the rotting corpses of their favorite heroes.

Most cooperative zombie games ask the players to save humanity from the undead horde. Marvel Zombies ain’t about all that nonsense. Get ready to throw down with earth’s mightiest heroes. They may be powerful, but they are not immune to the ravages of the zombie virus.

Marvel Zombies Overview

In Marvel Zombies, players are working together to spread the zombie plague, devour brains, and wreak havoc on the city they once protected. Each player controls a single zombified version of their favorite Marvel heroes.

Players must feed on innocent bystanders in order to achieve their objectives. But those annoying still-alive heroes have the audacity to try to stop you with their S.H.I.E.L.D. agents helping them. Hunger makes zombies more powerful, but too much hunger can drive a zombie too far off the deep end of insanity. So, they must occasionally feed in order to maintain what little sense they have left.

Marvel Zombies cards

Marvel Zombies comes with highly detailed and pre-assembled minis for each zombie and hero. Each of these has its own set of unique powers and abilities. Players will need to use their powers carefully in order to maintain their composure (literally) and fight off those pesky humans while also being sure to set aside time for a light snack now and then.

Dying Together Isn’t Going to Solve Anything

Also be on the lookout for the several expansions, including Marvel Zombies: Heroes’ Resistance where players will push back against the zombie invasion and save innocent bystanders. You can even combine both games together for some asymmetrical zombie mayhem!
