The Solar Auxilla get a big Battlebox, and Tomb Kings rise from the sands to do battle with Bretonnians in the Old World. All this in next week’s preorders.

The Solar Auxilla roll out onto the battlefields of the Horus Heresy this week, in an all new Battlebox with a few other reinforcements. With tanks and troops enough to rain firepower down on the enemies of the Emperor, there’s sure to be something for everyone here.

Then in the Old World, the Tomb Kings and Bretonnians face off against each other. Skeletal warriors vs. Enchanted Knights in a battle for the ages.

Solar Auxilla – Tanks Again!

The Solar Auxilla Battlegroup features 28 new miniatures:

“A five-man Line Command section consisting of an Auxilia Troop Master and four Auxilia Veterans with a variety of upgrade choices leads a complement of 20 Auxilia armed with las rifles. There’s also a Leman Russ Strike Tank, an Aethon Pattern Heavy Sentinel, and a Dracosan Armoured Transport.”

But there’s more than just the Solar Auxilla next week. Two Forge World Resin kits unleash psychic powers among the Astartes.

The Stormseer Consuls bring weather powers to the White Scars.

While the Dark Emissary Consuls keep a baleful eye on the Sons of Horus.

And the Apothecarion Detachment does what they do best, harvest Astartes geneseed.

Tomb Kings

Meanwhile in the Old World, Fantasy is back in a big way, with a veritable horde of Tomb Kings releases forthcoming. Starting with the Tomb King on Necrolith Bone Dragon, seen above. This kit can be built for either a Mortarch of Nehekhara and the other for a Liche Priest of the Mortuary Cult.

Nekaph, Emissary of Settra is the hardest working undead in the Old World. His job is to shriek all the titles of Settra before the battle begins. So he has to show up at least a day early to every battle.

Alongside the new miniatures are several returning kits in plastic. Skeleton Warriors which can be warriors or archers, Skeleton Horsemen, and Skeleton Chariots are all back in grey.

In metal, on the other hand, are some epic heroes:

Prince Apophas, a Necrotect with whip, and a Tomb King on Chariot lead the charge on metal, which just leaves resin…

In resin are the Tomb Scorpion, Screaming Skull Catapult, and The Carrion.

Bretonnians

The Bretonnians ride out to meet the undead hordes of Nehekhara, starting with Knights of the Realm on foot. Accompanying them, the legendary Lord with Great Weapon and Helm Bearer.

And what would Bretonnia be without her Knights of the Realm/Errant, soon available in plastic:

In metal, Bretonnian Squires and Squires Command as well as Questing Knights and their Command,.

And of course two Prophetesses of the Lady and the Green Knight.
