Dragon’s Dogma 2 released the character creator not even a week ago, and folks are already cramming in everyone you can think of.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is coming out in a little more than a week—consider this your reminder to start acting just slightly sick on work calls, sowing the seeds for a sudden “illness” to take hold when launch day arrives on March 22nd. But though the game isn’t out yet, folks have already been playing with Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character creator to terrifying effect.
Behold as Arisen and Pawns alike take the form of familiar characters. Including Tiomtheé Chalamet as Paul Atreides in Dune, everyone’s favorite eldritch deity, Shaggy Rogers, and a surprisingly lifelike Willem DaFoe.

If you haven’t played the original, Dragon’s Dogma is a series where you play as a fantasy adventurer in a world full of giant, climbable monsters that you have to fight with your loyal assistant, known as a Pawn. This series features some of the best open-world designs you’ll ever come across. To the point where its lead design has come out and said “you don’t need a horse because you won’t get bored walking from place to place.” You might get killed. But that’s a whole other story entirely.
Ahead of Dragon’s Dogma 2’s release, though, the developers released the Dragon’s Dogma 2 character creator, which you can download right now and start playing around with it.
