In RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg, players work together in a fully cooperative campaign set in the world of Gielinor.

Based on the most meme-able MMORPG ever made (Sorry, World of Warcraft), RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg will have players battling monsters, crafting gear, and collecting eggs to bake the perfect cake. You know, normal RuneScape stuff.

Or, if you’re more of a RPG kind of person, I’ve got good news. There’s also a RuneScape RPG.

RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg Overview

RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg is a cooperative campaign-style game. Each campaign can be played with 1-5 players and is broken into two main phases: The exploration phase and the boss phase.

In the exploration phase, players explore Asgarnia and Misthalin, performing various tasks. This could be gathering resources, leveling up skills, or dealing with random encounters. Along the way, there are set quests to complete to move the group forward. Don’t spend too much time exploring, though. As the escalation track rises, the world becomes more dangerous until the boss is defeated.

In the boss phase, players take on that campaign’s boss in a close-up battle. Each of these battles uses a dedicated game board which bring the boss, and their environments to life!

Additionally, RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg has optional side quests, random events, vaults, and other exploration options that change the experience of each playthrough. Plus, there are no character classes. Players can build their characters however they want, leveling up whichever skills they deem worthy. Even your skill in Cooking can be vital in defeating the boss quickly!

BoLS might make a few bucks on anything you buy from these links. But, be honest, you don’t enjoy randomly browsing online stores. So let us do the annoying part for you. Help us help you.
