Warhammer 40K: All The Kroot Miniatures Coming Soon That We Know About
The first wave of Kroot miniatures are around the corner. We’ve gathered up all the previews so far into one spot for the Kroot invasion!
There’s a massive Kroot update coming for the T’au army very soon. In fact, they are the focus on the new army box that will include the first crack at the T’au Codex as well. For now, we’ve gathered up all the units that Games Workshop has teased and put them here for reference. When GW first revealed the T’au they were also very quick to point out that the LVO 2024 reveals were only about half the range. Well, now that we’re this close to the first wave, and we gotten more previews, we’re wondering if GW has a few more models left to tease…
But for now let’s just take a look at what has been confirmed from Games Workshop.
Kroot Carnivore Squad
It was a long time coming but we’re finally getting a revamp to the Kroot Carnivore Squad. This is a welcome update and these miniatures look great — not so different from their old school minis but still a new and improved version.
Kroot Shapers
The Shapers of the Kroot are essentially the HQ options for the Kroot. There’s quite a more of them this time around as GW has expanded on them and their roles in the Kroot army.
Kroot Flesh Shaper
Kroot War Shaper
Kroot Trail Shaper
It’s we’ve gotten a teasers about their rules. We’re looking forward to see what else the rest of these Shapers will do for their Kroot kin.
Krootox
The large and in charge Krootox are back with some nice updates as well. There’s two new updates coming with the Krootox Rampagers and the Krootox Rider.
Krootox Rampagers
The Rampagers are geared more toward close-combat and will come in a pack. They are looking to smash some enemies with their muscular frames and bad attitudes!
Krootox Rider
The Krootox Rider is a revamp of the old school version. This one is looking beefier and has a few more weapon options and boat load of new details.
More Kroot Units
Kroot Hounds
The classic Kroot Hounds have also gotten an update with a new version. The are looking more imposing than before.
Kroot Lone-spears
There’s also a new Kroot Lone-spear character that’s riding a Kalamandra. This unit should also be plenty fast enough to keep up with the faster elements of the army as well.
Kroot Hunting Pack Army Box
Your first crack at these models (and their rules) will be in the Kroot Hunting Pack army box coming soon. This will also feature the new T’au codex as well.
Don’t forget about the new(er) Kroot models that were also included in Kill Team either. Those might be worth snagging if you really want your Kroot fix right now.
More Kroot Inbound?
As mentioned at the top we are wondering if GW has more Kroot left to show case. AdeptiCon 2024 will have another preview show and it’s quite possible that GW will have more to reveal. That said, we’re wondering what other units they could drop on us. One example would be a named unique Kroot leader. And who knows…we might also see some more T’au sneak their way in, too!
