Say hi to Madison Square Garden, Intrepid Heroes, as the Dimension 20 gang gears up for a blowout live show next year.

If you ever needed a sign that liveplay shows are here to stay, look no further than the newest live show coming to Madison Square Garden next year. Dimension 20 goes live with Gauntlet at the Garden, an upcoming live show featuring everyone’s friendly neighborhood socialist DM, Brennan Lee Mulligan, who will be heading up a cast of familiar faces coming together to play D&D.

The show, announced yesterday, will be an extension of Dimension 20’s Unsleeping City campaign, which is set in New York City. And while they might not know what salsa should taste like up there, it is a very fitting campaign to run for the group’s first show at Madison Square Garden.

Dimension 20’s Gauntlet at the Garden – The Return of Unsleeping City

If you haven’t seen all of Dimension 20, and who could blame you if you hadn’t, they are constantly iterating on new seasons, with fantastical settings, and even the occasional new game. From the sugary hills of Candia in A Crown of Candy, to the inner workings of a human mind in Mentopolis, the show has taken some fantastic turns.

But for Madison Square Garden, the gang is returning to The Unsleeping City. This campaign premiered in 2019 and featured the familiar Intrepid Heroes, aka Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson, whom you might also recognize from Fantasy High, the John Hughes-inspired Dimension 20 show.

In The Unsleeping City, a gang of regular, modern-day New Yorkers discover a secret sixth borough of the City that Never Sleeps. Within this secret pocket of the Unsleeping City, supernatural creatures abound and threaten to spill over into Manhattan and the Bronx.

Throughout two seasons, we get to know and love New York and its rats, subways, cops, mutant Santa clones, and, of course, the more fantastic residents. It’s basically if Neverwhere was American and played out through D&D.

According to reporting from Variety, tickets will go on sale tomorrow:

Artist ticket presales for “Dimension 20: Gauntlet at The Garden” will begin on April 10 at 10 a.m. ET, LiveNation presales on April 11, and general on-sale will begin on April 12. The live show will be recorded and made available for subscribers to view on Dropout at a later date.

Madison Square Garden seats almost 20,000 people. So be ready for a crowd!
