Everything outside is starting to bloom, and so are these flower and garden themed games for your next springtime game night.

It’s finally that time of spring where things are starting to bloom and it’s looking more and more green outside. We’ve even had a few sunny days mixed in with the famous April rain. And now that spring is in full bloom, let’s bring a little more of that bright, beautiful, colorful energy into our game nights with some gardening and flower inspired games.

Plantopia

Plantopia is puns, flowers, and cute art. Who could ask for more in a card game? Players influence the weather to keep their punny plants (like the Boba Tree, the Treegonometree, and the Twolips) growing faster than your opponents in order to claim the coveted title of Champion Gardener. This is ono of those cute, simple, and family friendly games that’s good for any game night with any group of people.

Flora & Fauna

If you need a game that’s a little more calming and a little more solo, Flora & Fauna is exactly that. In this immersive solo-play card-game you help the rainforest flourish by arranging the plant and animal life for the healthiest ecosystem possible. It’s mindful and peaceful in a way that’s designed to bring a little more peace to your day. The rules are simple, and the art is simply gorgeous.

Three Sisters

Three Sisters is a roll-and-write game where you plant, manage, and grow your garden of veggies. If you’ve lost hours to simple life-and-farm video games, Three Sisters is one you and up to three friends will be able to fall right into. This is also a slightly more complex game, so for the board-gamer who likes to get into the minutia and crunch, it will make you feel like things are really happening. And, there’s even a solo mode. This one has everything.

Botany

This is a truly beautiful game of plant hunting in Victorian Times. Players take on the role of Victorian Era botanists, traveling the world in search of fame, fortune, and the most breathtaking new plants and flowers so you can bring them home and earn the coveted Queen’s Prize in botany. It’s a strategic card and board game, with an aesthetic and design that looks gorgeously vintage. The rules are quick and easy to learn, but there’s a ton of replayability potential.

Four Gardens

In Four Gardens, gardeners collect resources to build beautiful, panoramic gardens to impress the gods themselves and earn the crown to the kingdom. The stakes are high, but you’d never know it from how dreamy and lovely the game is. In the center is a rotating pagoda dice tower, giving this game a little more of an immersive and unique element.
