Games Workshop Rumor Engine: ‘Power Stick’
The latest Rumor Engine is out from Games Workshop and it sure looks like we’ve got a new weapon coming. The Power Stick.
So you know what a power weapon is. They come in all shapes and sizes. There’s swords, axes, fists, and even the off-shoot Force weapons, too. But now the latest Rumor Engine is teasing something entirely new. See for yourself!
“After a week of soul-searching and introspection, we’ve decided that the Rumour Engine doesn’t need to be real, so long as people like it. Where else will you get vague snippets of a checks notes ‘long stick-looking thing that might also be a tongue’. Who writes these?”

Rumor Engine – Power Stick
Okay, while I’m mostly kidding about this one being a new power weapon, the paint job is what made me think it’s possible. There does look to be surges of power traveling up this stick — not unlike a power weapon.
I also don’t know if this is actually a stick or not. In all likelihood, it’s probably something else. As the texted mentioned there’s a good chance this is just a tongue. I say “just a tongue” like that’s a common answer. Anyhow, I could see this also being something from the Seraphon, too.
They have had creatures in the past with their tongues out. That doesn’t explain the charge that’s painted on them however. Then again, we’ve got one lizard that spits fire. So why not one that can spit lightning?!
But to be perfectly honest, I really don’t know what we’re looking at here. If it’s a stick or a tongue, well, it could be either! I’m going to chalk this Rumor Engine up as one of those that is just really vague and hard to tell. There’s nothing else in the image for context to work with. But hey, that’s the fun of the Rumor Engine, right?
