The UK Game Expo is happening and Gundam Assemble is on the scene with product packs and more!

Gundam Assemble is coming in 2026. That feels like a long way away. But Bandai is doing some cross-promotion thanks to the Gundam Card game. Specifically, they are showing off some of the sprues at the UK Games Expo this weekend.

Leakycheese also shared photos of the upcoming game over on Bluesky, including a close-up of an MS-06 Zaku II mini – get a closer look here.

Gundam Assemble X Gundam Card Game

For the most part, these look like a streamlined version of some of the Gunpla Kits I’ve seen. That’s not a bad thing overall, as some of those kits can get pretty complex. Still, these miniatures seem to have quite a bit of detail.

It’s worth noting that the miniatures are going to be available with the Gundam Card game; those sets slated for a July 11, 2025 release date. That’s based on the pictures from the UK Game Expo. While I like the idea of this cross-promotion, I’m more curious about the miniatures game than the card game.

I do wonder if these miniatures will be used in both games somehow. One big difference I’m seeing is that the bases from the Card Game sets are round, while the minis from the few Gundam Assemble set-ups we’ve seen have Hexagonal-ish bases:

I don’t know about other folks, but I don’t mind doing a base swap in this case! I’m just curious about the rules for the Gundam Assemble game and if the bases actually do have any determination for things in-game. Also, I just really want to get my hands on some of these miniatures!

Would you pick up some of the Starter Decks for the Gundam Card Game just to get the miniatures?
