Cyberpunk RED’s new splatbook, Interface RED, Vol. 04 has hit digital shelves with the shiniest new chrome. And with it? Cyber-martial arts.

In Night City (or parts nearby, but really if you’re not in Night City, are you anywhere at all, choom?), Edge is everything. This holds true whether you’re an Edgerunner or just some kind of Corpo rat trying to eke out more than just the meagerest scraps that fall from the table all the way at the top. And in Interface RED, Vol. 04, you might find just the edge you need to stay ahead. At the very least, you’ll find an assortment of new ways to die on the mean streets of Night City.

What’s in the New Splatbook?

Interface RED, vol. 04 is a new splatbook for Cyberpunk RED. Think of it as the 4th in a series of periodic upgrades to the core game. You don’t need to play Cyberpunk or anything, but they flesh out the corners of the world while simultaneously smoothing out rough edges.

In other words, they add new stuff. New stuff that gives you new ways to play. And that would be true if the only thing this book was a curated collection of the DLC that R. Talsorian puts out every month. But you’ll find a slew of new martial arts styles to play with in the book.

There are a whopping 23 new martial arts styles to use in the game. And if you’ve never played Cyberpunk RED, you might be wondering what that even means. First of all, that’s a lot. Second, each of the martial arts styles opens up new combat options for people employing them. With the right combo of skill and attribute, you open up deadly new special moves—anything from throwing someone to the ground to punching through the hardest armor.

It’s one of the coolest things about Cyberpunk’s combat system. Especially since these new styles add some deeply in-lore options, including Arasaka’s commercially available martial arts system, as well as a few special cyber-martial arts:

We all know you have to keep alive one way or another. Night City never stops being dangerous, but that’s why we love it. You need to learn to defend yourself! I think we can get you taken care of. And we can make sure to bring you the right info you may need to get it done in the long run–be it for recreation, or devastation.

In this fourth volume of Interface RED you’ll find a collection of short articles custom-crafted to improve your Cyberpunk RED experience. We at R. Talsorian Games take pride in releasing free content every single month. This little book is a collection of hand picked DLC as well as our new exclusive supplement, Cyberfists of Fury, adding a sweat-soaked rainbow of new Martial Art styles to your campaign with 23 new styles!

And the Martial Arts are only one part of the book. You also get to tear through some of the supplemental zines that R. Talsorian has been putting out, including the equipment-focused “12 Days of Gearmas” and a Halloween special.

All of this is available now in Interface RED, Vol. 04.
