D&D: All Eyes On New Mr. Potatohead Beholder From WizKids – Including Origins Exclusive
That’s right, not one but TWO different Mr. Potatohead Beholder minis are soon to be out – including an Origins exclusive model.
What a world we live in. Mr. Potatohead Beholders are everywhere. WizKids unveiled a new spudtastic version of the classic beholder miniature, including one you can only get at Origins Game Fair, and one you can get regular style. Both of these Potatohead Beholders join their larger kindred, making for three different Mr. Potatohead Beholders. Each with their own angry eyes, mustache, and of course, disintegration rays.

Listen, at this point, I’ve typed the phrase potatohead beholder so many times the words have lost meaning. But I do have to point out that these miniatures embody the essence of the toy they’re mashed up with. This means you can swap out eyes and mouths and eye stalk parts. You know, like you would with a Mr. Potatohead toy.
There are two versions. There’s the standard Icon of the Realms version which you’ve seen before. But there’s also an event exclusive Potatohead Beholder, which will be available at Origins Game Fair at the WizKids booth until supplies run out.
What makes this one different? A smiling mouth. A wizard hat. And a few other key components which you can swap in or out as you like. As you can see from the little plastic holes, there’s plenty of opportunity to mix and match and create your own horror, unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
