We’ve got a brand new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. Clearly we’ve got a Grimdark Traffic Light today, right?

Welcome to another Tuesday and a brand new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop! I hope you day is going well and you’re not stuck in traffic wherever you happen to find yourself. Because if you are, then this image is going to look familiar. Don’t believe me? Well have a look for yourself!

“Ah, finally! A Rumour Engine image we know! That’s the business end of the big stick with which we whack this damn machine when it spits out fresh nonsense. Which, as you know, is all the time. “

Rumor Engine – Grimdark Traffic Light

Wait, you mean to tell me those aren’t traffic lights? Those studs are from a very big stick? Well, that explains the cable at least! Who would want to wield such a scary stick in the Grimdark?

Oh. Right. Arbites do like their power mauls. This is technically the Exaction Squad which is a Kill Team.  But this does look like a weapon the Imperium would use. Based on the design, I could see that being an Imperial weapon. Or maybe Imperial-Adjacent.

I could see this maul being a weapon the Leagues of Votann would use. It could be a good rock-breaker that doubled as a good knee-capper. I also associate these power mauls with Ogryn for some reason.

I know these are Ogors from AoS. At the same time I just picture Ogors/Ogryns with large blunt weapons.

Imagine these Bullgryns with shields and power-mauls. That would certainly be a scary unit to face off in melee.

Now that I’ve got that out of my system I’m turning it over to you. Who do you think is packing this weapon? Or what if it really is a traffic light? Does that mean we’re getting more vehicles in the Grimdark?! What about a new Necromunda Expansion that involves Ash Waste Racing!? Good times.
