Pathfinder Reamps One Of Its Big Adventure Path Campaigns For 2E – ‘Gatewalkers’ Returns In A Big Way
Global amnesia, mysterious portals, and darker mysteries await in a revamped version of the classic Gatewalkers adventure path.
Pathfinder revisits a familiar adventure path, but this time with a 2nd Edition Remaster spin. Gatewalkers was a campaign that took adventurers from levels 1-10 in the midst of the fabled “Missing Moment”—an eldritch horror type event when magic swept across the faceof Golarion, opening up strange portals which lured people in, Junji Ito style. Those who returned, returned changed; though many did not return at all.

What I really like about this adventure path is that it casts the players are paranoral investigators in search of answers to an occult mystery. It’s a decidedly more eerie take on things than the usual Pathfinder adventure paths. Although at the end of the day, it is still Pathfinder. So you will still be leveling up and killing alien monsters whose mere presence would warp the minds of lesser beings. And like, without even any trouble.
The perilous quest takes you beyond Golarion, to shores outside of this reality altogether. Along the way, the characters will meet fellow “gatewalkers,” defeat alien monsters, and explore strange realms also touched by the so-called Missing Moment. And when it comes time to learn the grim truth of what happened to them on that fated summer night, what then?
