Warhammer Next Week: Something Fishy About These Idoneth Deepkin

They may not live in a pineapple, but they do live under the seas of the Mortal Realms – Idoneth Deepkin on pre-order next week!
Age of Sigmar’s Idoneth Deepkin are everyone’s favorite bunch of horrors and elves from under the seas of the Mortal Realms. Hungry for souls, made from a uniquely elven hubris, and basically like if Mad Max and the Little Mermaid decided to play dressup as knights together, the Idoneth Deepkin are a wild, waveriding army that has a lot to offer. You can see for yourselves as part of next week’s pre-orders!
Warhammer Next Week: Idoneth Deepkin Come Crashing In With The Tide

It all kicks off with the new Battletome: Idoneth Deepkin. This 98-page book has everything you need to play your army of soul-devouring elves. Including updated rules and warscrolls as well as new spells and manifestations, even a new Spearhead Detachment. And of course new Armies of Renown for when you want to throw down something a little more dramatic.

Speaking of dramatic, though, just look at the Ikon of the Sea. It doesn’t get much more dramatic than that. These guys embody the power and majesty of the sea in all its ferocity. They surge with potent tides, and can pull along their allies. Or you can build this kit as a fearsome Ikon of the Storms, for when you want more fury.

Or get downright mystic – the way the ocean does when you sit by it so long you feel as though you’re adrift, pulled on by some unnatural calling – with Mathaela, Oracle of the Abyss. As one of the great soul-scryers, they bring the deadliness of the utmost abyss to bear in battle, detroying foes and transforming friends into frenzy.

There’s also a new set of Idoneth Deepkin Manifestations. You’ll find two new ones here: the Incarnate of the Deep and a set of Abyssal Tendrils. Both are as destructive as the crushing depths of the ocean. So, you know, good times if you’re not on the receiving end.

If you want just a plain regular water wizard, you shoould grab the unnamed Isharann Soulscryer. These casters use eldritch power to find souls, bind souls, and help their allies ambush the enemy to enable them to collect aforesaid souls even easier.

And finally, pick up the new Spearhead box. In the Akhelian Tide Guard, you’ll find a host of new miniatures, all surprisingly swift. You’ll get: 10 Namarti Reavers, 1 unit of Morrsarr Guard, 1 unit of Ishlaen Guard, and an Akhelian King.
All this, next week!
