Huge LEGO ‘Star Wars: Andor’ Aldhani Heist MOC Has Tons of Pieces, Lets You Steal From The Empire

This LEGO recreates the Aldhani Heist from Star Wars: Andor with tons of pieces and lots of show-accurate details.

Pretty much everyone agrees that Andor is the best Star Wars has been in at least 20 years. The show is a tour de force, and its second season is now airing. Of course, it’s a little soon for season 2 builds and spoilers, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t great Andor builds out there. Take this one, which features season 1 Aldhani Hiest.

In season one of Andor, Cassian joins a rebel cell planning a heist on the planet Aldhani. The group needs to infiltrate an Imperial base and make off with a massive payday. In classic fashion, the heist in the base doesn’t go quite as planned, but it does make for some thrilling television.

That brings us to this super cool and very detailed MOC that shows off the central part of the Aldhani Hiest. Built by JKbricks (find them on YouTube or Instagram), this build took them about five months to put together and was, at the time, the biggest one they’d attempted. They also mentioned that it took about eight orders to get all the right bricks to build it. The build is several feet wide and shows off the interior of the Aldhani base.

JKbricks build shows off the main section of the heist. It details part of the two main rooms where it takes place, and where things really go wrong. And “details” is the right word here, as this build, while relatively simple overall, has a ton of great details. On the right, you’ve got the main docking bay, full of characters going about the heist. On the left, you’ve got the open vault with its stacks of Imperial Credits.

Both rooms are very detailed, especially the rough-hewn walls, which really pop and bring the scene to life. It’s a great representation of the heist. I also really love all the lighting work that was done, which helps bring things to life. This is just a great example of a really well-done and tightly focused MOC that hits.
