Forge World is unleashing Inferno this weekend – are you ready for Prospero to BURN?

via Warhammer Community

The seventh installment in our Horus Heresy series, Inferno will be available to order this weekend. This book is perhaps the most anticipated addition to the series since it began, and is absolutely packed with stuff. Weighing in at 312 pages, there is no book larger in the series.

How did we fill those pages you might wonder?

Here you go: the content pages of the book, so you know just what to expect.

We’re looking at a TON of new rules to play Space Wolves, Thousand Sons, Mechanicum and the new “Talons of the Emperor” which includes the Custodes and Sister of Silence! Inferno will also contain a ton of new missions to play through as well as campaign rules, too. If you’re looking for some new army lists or if you just want an awesome narrative to play though then give Inferno a crack!

And if you need to get your Horus Heresy Forces started GW has you covered too:

The Horus Heresy: Burning of Prospero $150

The Horus Heresy: Betrayal at Calth $150

And if you want to get really fancy Forge World has that covered:

Leman Russ and the Wolf-kin £140

Legio Custodes Armoured Assault Force £300

Thousand Sons Task Force £225

The Heresy lives as Prospero BURNS…

  • Nyyppä

I heard TS are now unbeatable because of Magnus. I disagree. He has a potential sD shot. Like that’s a new thing. Otherwise he’s not much better as a psyker than Lorgar.

    • SilentPony

I haven’t seen the rules. Is it really that bad? He should at the very least be a lvl4 psychic with his own Primarch power s table

      • Nyyppä

Level 5, random powers, option to cast an extra power and if it’s succesful it adds D6 str to a witchfire. If it’s s11+ it’s sD. Otherwise pretty basic. Lorgar gets 3+ cast too and can choose the powers. It’s good but…op? I don’t think so.

      • Red_Five_Standing_By

He has an ability to increase the ML requirement of a witchfire spell by 2. If he does so then the spell gets +2d6 strength. If it is more than 11, then the Strength becomes D.

This isn’t an issue until you think of Witchfire spells that are blasts. Oh the humanity.

  • Philip Estabrook

Do they even have a Magnus model from before he was a demon prince?

    • orionburn

I thought they said at the recent weekender that he is getting a separate model for 30k.

    • SilentPony

They already teased it. He’s the next Primarch to be released.

    • Red_Five_Standing_By

They were going to reveal it but then 40k Guilliman leaked way ahead of time, so GW decided to hold off on the Magnus reveal.
