Now a couple of comments here folks. First off we see a hardcover full color army book offering out of GW for the first time at a pricepoint not much higher than the previous softcover mainly black and white affairs..  Me thinks I can feel the invisible hand of the marketplace applying it’s subtle pressure.  

Next from a design and aesthetics department, take a look at the Savage Orc kits. There is a lot of purposeful abstraction and hard edges in there that seem to more in line with the design aesthetic we have seen in the River Troll, and Beastmen kits.  Just saying.
