My lightbox isn’t big enough for the size of my buildings as I’m aiming for massive!

Hi! I`m Tommy from the blog bigbossredskullzI’m also on FacebookI’ve made a few armies in my hobby column so far. Now it’s time for some proper terrain to play on!

Beluga 61?

IMAG2075

This is my gaming group’s little corner of 40k where we play our games. My little piece of that is the northern region of Beluga 61 as I have the Frontline Alpine 6*4 battlemat. I don’t have any big background yet beyond heavy industry and very religious area. I’ll use a mix of stock kits and some custom pieces.

We’ll take it from there 🙂

I’ve enlisted two Barrys just for scale reference. I’m very pleased with the sheer scale of it as I had a Cityfight board 10 years ago but it was only with buildings two floors high. Now I finally have the scale I want.

Since I use a mat and the Basilica is actually very stable I won’t make a base for this building and hopefully for none of the other buildings. Just makes storage a lot easier.

This building was actually what got me in gear as a mate had bought it and I just loved how it looked on the board. The kit itself is super easy to work with and it’s good value imo.

With the Barrys in place you can really see how big this building is. Two knights and a lot of infantry can effortlessly stay in cover.

It’s been a fun week and very refreshing working with scenery. So it’ll be more WiPs next week!

That’s it for this week! Make sure you check out my blog regularly, I update several times a week!

Who likes to work on terrain and can anyone share some great links for inspiration?
