Goatboy here with a Khorne idea that is all about controlling the missions in 40K.  Skulls for the Skull Throne!

Goatboy here again and since it is Labor Day I’ve decided to do a quick list throw out.  I am hoping we get some new 40k to chat about in the coming weeks especially if it is actually a good Chaos Codex.  We’ll see if my fevered dreams do come true but instead of some kind of pre lamenting my evil warriors I want to go in a different direction for my Chaotic worship.  I want to look at a “Mission Winner” Khorne Daemonkin style list that looks to play the missions by utilizing a large amount of units on the table top.  Plus with games moving towards MSU you have a lot of options to kill stuff.

Khorne Mission Winner

Khorne Daemonkin CAD + Gorepack X 2
HQ: Chaos Lord, Bike, Super Cool Thirster Axe, Combi-Melta
HQ: Bloodthirster of Rage aka D Thirster of Doom
Troops: Cultists X 8
Troops: Cultists X 8
FA: Heldrake, Baleflamer
FA: Heldrake, Baleflamer
FA: Heldrake, Baleflamer

Gorepack #1
Chaos Bikers X 3, Meltagun X 2
Chaos Bikers X 3, Meltagun X 2
Flesh Hounds of Khorne X 5
Flesh Hounds of Khorne X 5
Flesh Hounds of Khorne X 5

Gorepack #2
Chaos Bikers X 3, Meltagun X 2
Chaos Bikers X 3, Meltagun X 2
Flesh Hounds of Khorne X 5
Flesh Hounds of Khorne X 5

This list is pretty basic and it just covers the table in options.  Plus it can kill most things, deal with a ton of Rhinos/Drop pods/etc and kill a lot of other things.  The 3 Heldrakes are rough too and with todays push towards a ton of bikers it can kill a lot of jerks on the table top.  Plus it is all Khorne, has no casting involved and can just try to win the game based on being able to get and hold a lot of objectives.

Here is hoping your Labor Day is nice and easy.  For all those up at NOVA I hope your flights are on time and your toys make it back home without any breaks.  To everyone else – roll more 6’s.
