This Week’s Podcast Reviews 12/12-12/18
Hey all! Bahkara here for another week of reviews! It has been a busy holiday season so far, so let’s get on with the show!
Garagehammer Episode 134 – The guys pull double duty, going over the “Quest for Gal Maraz” campaign and story book. They tell the story of the quest while going back and forth between the two books. There are a couple times where it gets a bit confusing but overall it is well done. They are able to tie to two books together while telling the story. They also give different theories about a lot of the small side stories and possible future developments. A nice episode that should be listened to if you are interested in the growing fluff of Age of Sigmar.
Allies of Convenience Episode 33 – This episode the Battle for Salvation GT is getting coverage. They talk to 3 of the players, and a baby, about the event. Nice discussion about the event, the missions and their armies. Again, I like the different points of view of the same event that are provided and hope they continue with the trend.
Canhammer Episode 68 – In this 40K-centric episode, the guys go over their recent tournament experience. In addition to this, they also discuss the allies you can use in the game. They each come up with, in their opinion, the top 5 allies you can use in the game. It’s an interesting list that you should give a listen if you are wondering what other armies to add to your force as an ally detachment.
Signals from the Frontline – Always a good listen for new and rumors on 40K and other miniature games in the industry.
