We already teased some of the weapons from the Genestealer Cult’s armory. These Cultists get access to weapons that are definitely more Tyranid in origin.

The Hybrid Metamorph’s “Mutations” include the Metamorph Talon, Claw, and Whip. The Talon increases the wielders WS by +1. And Metamorphs have the option to replace their rending claw and talon with a PAIR of talons netting them a +2 WS. And yes they are base WS 4. So if you’ve been keeping up with our Genestealer Cult coverage all week, you’re probably piecing it all together by now.

And if you are worried about NOT having Frag Grenade equivalents for this unit…you shouldn’t be.

“Alien cunning combined with an imperial inventiveness for destruction – meet the Neophyte Hybrids

These guys do have access to the wacky new “old school”  Webber which we teased earlier. The Seismic Cannon, as mentioned above, is pretty brutal up close. And these guys have plenty of tricks to get them next to a unit to unload on them. Personally, these models are some of my favorite in the Genestealer Cult line so far. I’m digging the miner/industrial look and I like the tools they have at their disposal.

Both of these units are up for Pre-Order now on Games Workshop’s page and should be hitting store shelves this weekend. I know where I’ll be Saturday…

Hybrid Metamorphs $40

Hybrid Metamorphs scuttle forward with preternatural speed, weapon limbs thrashing and biomorphs pulsing with toxins. Spontaneously spawned in a cult’s latter cycles, they are thought to be created when a Tyranid hive fleet nears a prey planet that is host to a Genestealer Cult. When the day of the uprising arrives, it is the Hybrid Metamorphs that take pride of place upon the front line. In a storm of iron-hard claws, sinewy tentacles and slashing talons they crush and hack their way through everything in their path, an inspiration to the broodkin that worship them as sainted heroes of the cult.

Neophyte Hybrids $40

By the time a Genestealer Cult launches its insurrection, its Neophyte Hybrids make up a horde of thousands. Weathered and toughened by a life of hard labour, each cultist features the inhuman reactions and strength their alien genes gift them. These third and fourth generation hybrids can pass as human – sinisterly, some can even infiltrate the Astra Militarum, such are their blessings. When the cult signals their attack, Neophytes swarm from sewers, catacombs and shadowy barracks, overwhelming their enemies and seizing control of entire planets within hours.

The Genestealer Cult is drilling into the Imperium this weekend! What are you most excited for?
