“The wait is finally over and the Heroes of Ubersreik have now come to PlayStation 4™ and Xbox One.”

“October 4th has finally come, and the Skaven will forever remember the day the console players joined the fight!” says Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark. “They have waited patiently for their chance to decimate the dreaded rat-men army and the day has now come.”

“The consoles also get an extended version that includes all DLCs released for the PC version to date”

Vermintide was originally released on PC back in October of 2015. It currently has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam. It’s been described as “Left4Dead with a Warhammer twist + Phat Loots” and after getting to play the game, I can see why. If your looking for an awesome multiplayer game with friends then I’d suggest taking a look at this game. It’s certainly a good single player experience with the AI, but when you’re playing with 3 other buddies it’s just a fantastic experience.

Porting this game over to consoles is a pretty smart move for the developers and it’s been getting some pretty good responses from the beta players. Also, getting the “base game + all current DLC” for $39.99 is a steal. November is a notoriously brutal month for Games Launching on Consoles. The fact that this game is trying to avoid that holiday rush and hit consoles a month early is a smart move. This game has the potential to be one of those perennial games in my collection that I just keep going back to for the “Heroes vs Horde” style gameplay.
