D&D: 4 New Products Spotted on the Horizon

Four new D&D Products have been spotted, details are few, but here’s a look at 2018.

Now, up front I wanna say these are Codenames only. Spotted on a Canadian Book Sellers’ upcoming catalog list, four new D&D Products: one 192-page accessory, two 256-page adventures, and a set of themed dice related to one of the adventures.

Now, given what we know about 2018 from their panel at Game Hole Con this seems to track pretty well. The accessory is likely another supplement, maybe where we’ll see the Mystic and Artificer reappear. We know Wizards will be playtesting them again fairly soon, and considering that we were seeing revised versions of the subclasses in Xanathar’s Guide as late as June with a September release, that lanes enough time to get them ready, depending on where in the cycle the classes are at present.

Seeing two big adventures so close to each other is a little unusual. But, at the Game Hole Con panel they did mention wanting to try an adventure that wielded independently but was still connected with other supplements–and we’ve sort of seen a baby version of that with the supplemental materials for Tomb of Annihilation on the DMs Guild.

If I had to speculate wildly, I’d say maybe some kind of plane-related supplement. We know that they’ve been looking at other settings as well as Mind Flayers with relation to psionics. But, as for what the adventures could be, I’m at a loss. Rumor on the Internet says The Great Modron March, and I want to believe, but, we’ll have to keep snooping.
