Warcry isn’t just for Chaos cultists and warbands–though they play a central role in the initial release–here’s what models the other factions use.

A new Warcry website debuted today; and like the Kill Team website, the Warcry website is a central hub where you can find all manner of Warcry wonders, from video tutorials on how to play the game, articles, and lists of terrain to the focus of our preview today, which is all of the factions available in Warcry. Right now you can find three different warbands under each of the other Grand Alliances, so whether you’re a diehard destruction, death, or, uh, d’order fan, you’ll find something to play here. We’re taking a look at all nine armies, so let’s dive right on in.

via Warhammer Community

We’re starting with Order, which is the biggest of the Grand Alliances. You’ll find three Warband options. Stormcast Eternals are present, naturally, but you can also roll with Daughters of Khaine or Idoneth Deepkin to add whatever fancy flavor of somehow broken aelf you prefer.

Stormcasts are all about the scouts of the Vanguard. You’ll be bringing ranged firepower and sigmarite creatures to the table as you unleash the rangers of the Stormhost upon the Eightpoints.

The Daughters of Khaine have unleashed their Khinerai and Melusai upon the Eightpoints, backed up by Witch Aelves and Sisters of Slaughter for some extra frenzied killing power.

Meanwhile the Idoneth Deepkin have their Morsarr-riding creatures as well as both flavers of the Namarti.

Nighthaunts are the first representatives of Death you’ll find here (along with the Legions and Flesheaters). It’s a ghastly, wraithly, ghostly force.

The Legions of Nagash, in this case, Grave Guard and Skelebois, are led by Necromancers who have mastered the dead.

And coming to you straight out of their rotten kingdoms, come the Crypt Flayers, Horrors, and Ghouls of the Flesh-Eater courts.

The Gloomspite Gitz have one of the biggest selections on offer, with everything from Boingrot Bounders to Cave Squigs.

The Ironjawz, on the other hand, have only two models to choose from. A Brute or an Ardboy–presumably you’ll find more variety in the cards and way you equip them.

Or bring the Bonesplitterz to bring some savage pain, as these fearsome Orks rush at the biggest and baddest things on the battlefield.

As you can see, these Warbands don’t yet have the same personality and style of the Chaos bands–but you can play Warcry no matter your faction. It’ll be interesting to see how the game rolls out–if, like Underworlds, we start to see some characterful Warbands get released (or if indeed, these Warbands just end up being another place for you to use your Underworlds models).

Either way, get ready for Warcry this weekend.
