Goatboy here again and instead of some dumb chaos list – lets build a Space Marine list using the new Repulsor Executioner.

I think the new tank in the right type of army will be a pain in the butt.  It just shoots a lot, its pretty tough, and it has Roboute to back it up.  I don’t like the Benjamin  you have to spend to buy it – but it will show up as there is always a few Ultramarine builds in any big event.  Nothing like seeing that nice bright blue army run around the table top with tanks going pew pew.

With that in mind – let’s get to building.  We’ll probably take a Super Heavy Aux to get Roboute and then look at filling out a basic Battalion.  From there it is all up to me to depend on if I want to throw in an Assassin or two.

Murder Tanks for the Win – Version 1.

Space Marine Battalion – +5CP

Ultramar Tactics

This list leaves you with enough points to grab an Assassin as needed and hopefully use your rerolls, regrows, and other tools to put out a ton of damage to your opponent.  I went with Some Phobos armor nonsense to help protect the tanks a bit. There is a thought on going the new Scout route but they really need to drop a little bit to make them fit in this army.  Of course if you didn’t have an assassin all the Intercessors could get swapped out – but its up to you.  This list is a 6 drop army if you wanted too – which is pretty interesting depending on the type of event you are playing.  I always found having the choice to go second was better for you – as you knew exactly what was going to happen instead of getting surprised by a seize.

Decisions, decisions…

Hopefully I will get some Chaos Knights soon and go back to being the bad guy of the universe.

~Until next time – Death to the False Emperor… um, I meant to say… FOR ULTRAMAR!
