In this post, we are going to take a look at the Blood and Plunder Native Warrior Unit. For those that don’t know, Blood and Plunder is an excellent 32mm Historical Pirates game published by Firelock Games. The game is a lot of fun and the miniatures are some of the best looking figures and ships that I have seen.

In the interest of full disclosure, Firelock Games sent me these miniatures and Andrew Claessens (AKA the Painting Sith on Instagram) painted the models. Special thanks goes out to both of them for helping me out. The pictures in this post first appeared in a Showcase Article on Must Contain Minis.

Now, let’s take a closer look.

The Native Warrior Unit

The Native Warrior Unit by Firelock Games contains four miniatures. Each of the miniatures are armed with a club and a knife.

Above are the four units that come in the Native Warrior Blister Pack.

To me, this Warrior looks like he could be the leader of the group. He appears pretty confident of his abilities.

Another mini posed for battle.

This final warrior comes running into the battle to help his friends.

Overall, some really fantastic models with great paint jobs.

Wrapping it up…

Hopefully you enjoyed this quick post. If you want to see more related pictures, check out my original post on Must Contain Minis. Special thanks goes out again to both Firelock Games and Andrew Claessens. I met Andrew through the painters connected to Forbes Hobbies in Cambridge, Ontario (Canada). He takes on new commissions, but can be selective in the jobs he takes.

If you want to reach out to him, you can ask about him at Forbes Hobbies (which is how I got in touch) or reach out to him by email.

For the backgrounds of the photographs, I used a gaming mat by Cigar Box Battle and a 3D prototype building that I bought from Six Squared Studios.

Thanks for reading and until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!

Again, aside from writing great gaming related articles, I am also working on compiling a list of all Miniature Gaming Conventions in Ontario (Canada). If you are in Ontario, this list should be of interest to you!
