Check out the new Umbramancy and Technomancy Psychic Disciplines from the latest Space Marine Supplements!

Both the Iron Hands and the Raven Guard got their own set of Psychic Powers and we’ve got the codex supplements – so let’s take a closer look!

Technomancy

For the Technomancy Discipline my two favorite picks are Blessing of the Machine God and Psysteel Armour. You could use both of those on a vehicle to make it extremely durable and increase it’s accuracy. Imagine a Repulsor Executioneer with both of those powers juicing it up on a turn when the Devastator Doctrine is active. You’re basically hitting on 2s with a re-roll for your 1s.

Umbramancy

For the Raven Guard, they are really playing-up the whole sneaky-sneaky vibe here. Personally, I like Enveloping Darkness as it will help your units close the gap and get into assault – and the unit on the receving end of the charge can’t overwatch you and gets -1 to hit. Not bad. Spectral Blade also sounds interesting as it plays around with the leadership stat. I don’t know if it’s going to be “good” because most Librarians only have a 9 while the units you want to use this against probably have an equal or higher leadership. But hey, I’m sure someone in the comments will let me know about that one corner-case where it’s totally awesome.

Alright folks, let us know what you think of these powers in the comments!
