Warhammer 40K Next Week: Zoats, Flesh Coats, And More
It is another big round of releases for 40K next weekend. Blackstone Fortress is getting Zoats, and Fabius “Skin Coat” Bile is coming along with a new book.
Everyone loves Zoats in 40K. The name is great, the model is even better, the newest one exemplifies just how far 40K sculptors have come since the days where this:

As if the Blackstone Fortress wasn’t strange enough, along comes the six-limbed Zoat to aid your adventurers. The Deadly Alliance expansion features a quest where you try to quell the Seethe, a maze of shifting chambers that threatens to destroy the Fortress itself. Only the Zoat knows how to prevent this, so you must gain its trust and follow it into the hidden depths.

Fabius is the titular character in War of the Spider, the next book in the galaxy-spanning Psychic Awakening storyline. He returns to the ruins of Cadia, hunted by the Death Guard and Imperial agents. This would be too much for many people, but they don’t call him the Spider for nothing, so we’ll see who’s actually falling into who’s trap. The book has rules for the Death Guard, Adeptus Custodes, Sisters of Silence, Imperial Assassins and Creations of Bile, a new way of playing Chaos Space Marines.
