The Rumor Engine from Games Workshop just entered Advent Mode. It’s going to be 24 days of Warhammer Sneak Peeks!

Strap in and hang on – the Rumor Engine is in overdrive! Advent Mode is on and the previews are coming at you in a rapid fire manner. For the next 24 days the Rumor Engine will have sneak peeks for us all. I can’t wait to see them unfold before us. Check this out.

“Welcome to the Advent Rumour Engine! As a Christmas gift, we’re revving up the Rumour Engine to offer a tantalising glimpse at future Warhammer models every day in the run up to Christmas.

Take a look behind today’s window and join us on the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Facebook pages to share your guesses. Then come back tomorrow for another mysterious image – and no cheating by trying to open a window early!”

So what’s behind window #1? It’s a leg! Or is it a lamp? It doesn’t look fragile…probably not a lamp.

So what are we looking at here? It sure looks like an armored legging – we’ve got a foot, shinguard, ankle, and part of a knee. This looks like a Knight or something. Although, I would like to point out it’s kind of thin looking. And the iconography on the shin reminds me of a fleur de lis. Could this be for Sisters of Battle?

Their shin and feet do look similar in width (ie, they are thin). It’s certainly not as big and bulky as a Space Marine’s leg. The segments on the foot are also similar, although the Sisters are a bit more angular with only 2 segments in most cases vs the 3 more rounded segments here.

I’m also very curious about that ankle “rivet” part. That looks like some of the same joints from something larger like a dreadnought or even Imperial Knight. It’s hard to tell the scale of this thing also.

What if this is some new type of heavy armor Sisters of Battle unit or walker? That could be cool. I guess we’ll have to wait to find out if the Advent Rumor Engine will provide us with more clues about this new model. In the meantime, if you’ve got guesses we’d love to see them. Drop us a line in the comments about what you think this one could be.

I hope you’ve all been good this year and appreciate this new Advent Rumor Engine – the gift that keeps on giving!
