Sevireth, Lord of the Seventh Wind is here to blow your mind with amazing speed and deadly accuracy!

The Lumineth Realm-lords just got a new character that is not only fast but will also be able to threaten any support characters in other armies with ease. Watch out for Sevireth on the tabletop!

We need to start with that statline right off the bat. A 24″ move with fly is bananas! Sevireth will get where ever you need the Wind Lord to go! The 10 wounds and a 5+ save are okay…but he does have another 5+ save to shrug off any other wounds, too. Ideally you’ll be able to use that speed and the range of his attacks to prevent a unit from hitting you – but we’re getting to that.

An 18″ ranged attack with 4 shots that hit on 2+ and wound on 3+ with -3 rend and D3 damage is some major hero killing potential. Even with “Look Out, Sir” any 5-6 wound model is going to be a target and with that speed and range, getting to them won’t be a problem. His melee attacks aren’t bad either so if you get desperate, diving in there isn’t out of the question either. Use him to harass a unit from a distance, threaten a support character, or mop-up an already weakened enemy unit.

Into the Gale provides that 5+ roll to brush off any wound or mortal wound. It also reduces enemy pile in moves if they are within 3″. Living Cyclone also provides some mortal wound generation and a nice debuff on enemy units in range, too.

Scour is a new ability that allows for this model to shut-down an enemy’s faction terrain. This is really the first time we’ve seen GW go that route and now that I’m looking at the stats on this model and thinking about how many faction terrain pieces are out there, this is a nice fit. Zip behind the enemy line or near their faction terrain, shut it down for a round on a 2+ and plink away at the enemy.

Searing Desert Winds is yet another mortal wound generator for this model. Zip over any enemies and they take D3 mortal wounds on a 3+. Not too shabby!

Spirit of the Wind makes this model even faster. It’s yet another move in the shooting phase, but “only” 12″. Use that to jump back out of combat, over to an objective, or just use it to ping an enemy with Searing Desert Winds. Or setup yet another shot for later. 36″ of movement in one round (with out adding running or charge rolls) is completely bonkers.

Windmage Symbiosis allows you to heal friendly Windmages within 12″ of this model for D3. So after all that offense you also get a nice heal, too.

Sevireth, Lord of the Seventh Wind

“Of all the seven sentient winds of Hysh, none have suffered so greatly at the hands of Chaos as Sevireth. Manifesting in physical form to defend the Ten Paradises, the spirit also known as the Red Gale seeks to tear down the monuments of its foes with scouring magical sandstorms, all the while plunging arrow after enchanted arrow into the black hearts of the realm’s invaders.

As fast as the searing winds that race across the deserts of Hysh, Sevireth soars around the battlefield picking off key opponents with Enathrai, his giant magical bow. The scorching desert squalls that billow in his wake are capable of stripping flesh from bone, and scouring the magical essence out of the profane monuments of his foes.

The kit is comprised of 26 plastic components, with which you can assemble one Sevireth, Lord of the Seventh Wind, and is supplied with 1x Citadel 60mm Round Base. This model can alternatively be assembled as a Hurakan Spirit of the Wind.”

Fast as fast can be, you’ll never catch me…
