The doctor is in – at least their medkit is. Check out the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop!

It’s Tuesday which means it’s that time of the week where we get a glimpse at a future miniature from GW. This week’s Rumor Engine is pretty straight forward but maybe it’s trying to trick us into a false sense of security. Let’s take a look.

“Whether the Rumour Engine is powered by arcane sorcery, indecipherable technology, or a bit of both is of little consequence. The only things that matter are those sweet little glimpses of the good stuff. Take a look at this one. “

Alright – this is clearly a medical kit of some type. Based on the logo on the front, it appears to be Imperial in nature. We’ve got some various instruments inside as well: scissors, a syringe, a strange vial. Quite curious. Could this be for a Space Marine?

While the Imperial Medical Symbol is close, Space Marine Apothecaries have a different set of tools they carry and they don’t need a bag. Could this be a bag for an upcoming Astra Militarum Medic?

The Astra Militarum does actually have medics, so that’s a big maybe! The Tempestus Scions even have a Medic with a kit in their ranks:

In anycase, the bag sure looks Imperial in nature. Is there a chance that some other faction has taken some of their technology?

I’m not going to rule that out completely…It’s a long shot but who knows for sure. Either way, someone has called for medical assistance and this model is on the way. How long will we have to wait? That’s another part of the mystery of the Rumor Engine!
