The new Orruk Warband Hedkrakka’s Madmob is coming to Warhammer Underworlds and Games Workshop is showcasing all their new cards.
The latest Direchasm Warband is going up for pre-order Saturday and it’s time to take a quick look at their cards. We’re going to look at the fighter cards but if you want a full look at ALL the cards they are available at the link below.
“Hedkrakka’s Madmob is a flexible warband, capable of dishing out damage, casting spells, or jumping onto objectives. They were also brought to Beastgrave thanks to a talking snake, but nobody’s perfect.”
Hedkrakka is a hard hitter for your warband. He’s also the lynchpin for Inspiring your other fighters. He’s going to have a target on his back so you might want to keep some friendly around to support him. It’s going to be an interesting balance of using his abilities in the fight and protecting this leader.
Wollop, as his name implies, is going to be a hard hitting asset for the warband. His Leveller ability makes him ideal for taking on larger targets with 4+ wound characteristics.
Toofdagga is going to help your warband with a burst of speed to surprise your foes. Tireless Trackers helps mitigate that warband-wide speed of 3 while uninspired. And since everyone but Hedkrakka is a Hunter, there’s plenty of targets to push around.
And finally we have Dakko who’s bringing the bow and arrow shots to the fight. He’s got ways to get more shots if he doesn’t have a Move or Charge token. In this case, it’s More “Dakko” instead of Dakka. For a nasty surprise, you can combine Dakko’s ability with Toofdagga’s to sneak him into range and take some pop-shots!
