Once these boxes drop, my wallet is going to weep.

Since 3.0 and the release of Dominion, Games Workshop has teased a ton of new models for both the Stormcast Eternals and Orruk Warclans, and they’re all phenomenal. From dragon cavalry to massive siege crossbows, both the armies will get a lot of awesome new stuff to fill out their already heavy rosters. Even with all this cool stuff, though, there are a few standouts above the others, at least to me, so here are the 5 new kits I’m excited to work on in the next few weeks.

Beast-Skewer Killbow

Starting off right, we have the massive siege weapon that is the Orruk Killbow, a new contraption built by the Kruleboyz to prove that Orruks can shoot as well as krump. Whether decimating lines of infantry or taking down giant flying monsters (like Dragons), this new warmachine will change the game for the Orruk Warclans and bring them to a high power level in the pro-monster world of 3.0. Plus, the model looks incredible, and I’ll definitely be adding 2 or 3 to my Warclans army.

Krondys/Karazai

Of course, we couldn’t have an “awesome new model” post without talking about the Sons of Dracothian and the return of the Draconith to the Mortal Realms. These two scaly boys are absolute units on the battlefield, and they look phenomenal as well. I know it will be a strain, but I’ll probably have to get two of this kit so I can build both of the big fellas.

Corpse-Rippa Vulcha

On the other side of the allegiance aisle from the dragons is this massive new death bird, and boy is it awesome. You have the option to build either a Killaboss or the special character Gobsprakk, a powerful shaman. As before, I’ll probably invest in two of this kit to build both, though I may also just invest in some rare earth magnets.

Knight-Judicator

I will fully admit that I am a sucker for archer heroes (I made a few custom Glade Lords back in the day), so I was super stoked to see this model. He’s so dynamic, and his Gryph-Hounds look more like they are charging into battle, so I will definitely be adding one to my burgeoning Stormcast legion. In fact, he MIGHT be one of the reasons I decided to pick them up…

Dracothian Knights

And surprising no one, I want to build dragon cavalry, but seriously who can blame me? These models are incredible, combining the knightly aspect of the Stormcast with the majesty of the reborn dragons, and it speaks to the relationship between Sigmar and Dracothian. Now let’s see what that upcoming Chaos faction is going to be…

What are you most excited to build?
