The Dragon Princes Karazai and Krondys are coming to the tabletop and they have some potent abilities that they are bringing with them.

We’re getting more looks at the rules for the two Draconith Brothers and they are looking spicy! Before we get into those rules, check out how they look on the tabletop thanks to this new GW glam-shot:

Look at the size of that base! It’s a good comparison as to what size footprint we can expect them to take up. They will definately be throwing their weight around the tabletop. And we’re not just talking about their physical presence either. Check out these rules.

“But first, let’s talk about their fire breath. Both dragons use blazing tempest, an 18” torrent of “scouring flame” that’s precisely as fun to get caught in as it sounds. The target unit suffers between one and six mortal wounds.”

That’s going to roast SOMETHING. It’s guaranteed mortal wounds and that’s always appreciated. That’s an ability they both share, but let’s take a closer look at Krondys who is also a wise wizard in his own right. So wize, he’s got his own magic spell: Atavistic Tempest.

It’s really a buffet of options from this single spell. Pick the one that you need to go off after you successfully sling this spell. On top of that, He’s also got a powerful relic from his buddy Sigmar. Known as the Regalia Fulmentarus, it can add up to 3 to his casting rolls! Dragons and magic go together like peas and carrots.

Karazai on the other side of the coin doesn’t really do the whole “magic” thing. He prefers to get up close and personal as he nibbles on your roasted remains.

“He can also use his Fires of Vengeance ability to grow in destructive power as the game continues. For every Hero or Monster he kills, his melee weapons get one additional attack each for the rest of the game. If he destroys units with 3 or more Wounds per model, he can add one to his charge rolls for the rest of the battle.”

And it’s not just the flame-breathing jaws you need to worry about. The back end has a tail slap that you’re not going to be on the receiving end of either.

You saw that base, right? That’s got some potential to be a LOT of models and a LOT of damage…

Where will you find the rules for these dragons? Well beasts of this stature deserve a beastly battletome to match, right? So they will be in the massive Stormcast Eternal Battletome which is clocking in at an almost cartoonishly large 76 Warscrolls.

“It contains 76 warscrolls for Stormcast Eternals of every flavour, as well as all the battalions, battleplans, artefacts of power, traits, and spell lores. And dragons. Lots and lots of dragons.”

There be dragons here. Or at least in the battletome.
