Goatboy here, with my latest army that has Draigo and his Dreadknight friends do a lot of work from the brand new codex!

We’ve got two new books which means it’s time for a new concoction from my devious little goat-addled brain. I’m still working out the twisting path of a Thousand Sons list, so that will be coming next week.

The first one up on deck is the Grey Knight book – or as I like to call it the Draigo & Dreadknight Lance.  What I mean by that is Draigo is a badass and he loves to bring his friends the Dreadknights and Strikes to the dance party. I expect a lot of Grey Knight players to dust off their baby carriers and get their Strikes ready for some action.

Overall, the book feels alright. It has some neat movement tricks and other options that can be combined with an extremely efficient basic troop choice.  I don’t know how much innovation we will see in the book, but overall I think you’ve got pieces to work with.  It can move, has a sweet set of secondaries to use, and it can dish out some damage as needed. With that – let’s build!

Grey Knight Tactics

This is a pretty simple list – you have five  Dreadknights which you might want to add to the Teleporter keyword – drop the Apothecary if you want and get a bunch of models that can move around the table a bit easier.  I didn’t list any powers because normally you would have Warp Shaping, Teleport, and maybe Empyric Amplification due to the amount of Psilencers you are throwing around.

Again – this is a theoretical list with trying to fit in Draigo and as many Dreadknights as you can into an army.  You could drop the Inceptor squad, but figure you could set them up to teleport in as needed. They are fast and can move around the tabletop.
