We had a feeling that this day would come. The Van Saar Servo-suit is coming to the Underhive!

When the House of Artifice book came out we spotted the art and rules for the Servo-suit. It had no model at the time but we knew that this day would come. The Servo-suit a.k.a. the Arachni-rig is making its debut. The Underhive will never be the same.

Servo-suits are typically used in heavy industry to lift materials or operate machinery. The Van Saar are particularly fond of them, due to both the deficiencies caused by radiation poisoning that has afflicted their clan and their love of technology.

Of course, the House isn’t above adding a few extra weapons to them when they’re expecting a dust-up with a rival gang. The heavy weaponry they’re packing generally tips the scales in their favour.

Look out for this one! that’s a crazy looking model. Although I am wondering about the pilot’s legs*…anyhow, the Servo-suit is a BEAST! Once it’s loaded up with your choice of firepower, it’s even more deadly than before.

The model has various options and as you can see from the various weapons and cockpit options, you’ve got room to customize this addition your Van Saar gang.

*The Pilot’s legs are still there – the top model has the lower left arm reaching for the ground and pulling up some debris while the left leg is actually bent backwards, almost hidden from view. Makes us wish we had a 360° view of it. However, you can see from the  additional pictures the pilot’s legs aren’t cut off.

This model does a pretty good job of matching the artwork. Now you too can live out your Doc Ock Dreams – at least in the Underhive of Necromunda. This one is coming soon so keep a sentry posted for it’s arrival. You don’t want this Van Saar technological wonder ambushing your gang, do you?

If you want to check out it’s rules, pick up Necromunda: House of Artifice today.

Necromunda is a vast machine and the sons and daughters of House Van Saar are its engineers. While other clans and Noble Houses have been content to embrace the slavish traditions of the Imperium, in particular its superstitious fear of technology, those of House Van Saar have sought to unravel the mysteries of Humanity’s lost age of advancement and progress. At times during their long history, their actions have brought them close to tech-heresy, and only the extreme secrecy of their Archeotek cabals and the benevolence of House Helmawr – which benefits most from their innovation – have protected them.

Get the ultimate guide to House Van Saar. This 128-page book features the definitive history of the House and rules for fielding the six different types of fighters available to House Van Saar – Primes, Augmeks, Archeoteks, Neoteks, Teks, and Subteks. It’s ideal for fans of House Van Saar or anyone who wants to delve deeper into the dark side of the underhive.
