Age of Sigmar: Meet The New Orruk ‘Festive Miniatures’ Bawla and Burk
This year’s Festive Miniatures are from the Orruks and they are having a jolly time…killing Skaven!
Games Workshop has a thing for mini dioramas for their special one-off miniatures. They like to tell a story and this year’s Festive Miniature is no different. It’s time to do a bit of Rat Catching and slaying, Orruk style!
“This year’s special festive models are an orruk brute boss and his grot mate who have a special affinity for hunting skaven. Without further ado, here are Bawla and Burk.”

Well that’s one way to make an entrance! Let’s have a closer look at the models, shall we?
As mentioned above, this scene really does tell a story. Clearly the Skaven are having a bad day as Bawla is stepping on one Skaven while holding up the head of another that he probably just decapitated. Pretty gruesome stuff!
On the other hand, look at Burk bringing some comic relief to the scene in a way only a grot can — by running away from a giant rat! Now to be fair, if I saw a rat the size of a house cat, I’d probably be a little concerned, too. For Burk’s sake I hope that Bawla takes note and goes full ‘Pest Control’ mode on the rats.

And if you can’t get out there or you miss out for whatever reason you can still order this miniature direct from GW between the 3rd of January and the 9th of January. Game-wise, this pair can be used as a leader for your Orruk Brutes. Which fits. Heck, If someone told be that was their Warboss I’d probably be just fine with that, too. It’s a great model either way.
